It's the end of another cricket season which also means an end to another successful year of the Charlbury Cricket Club fantasy league.
Many thanks to Paul Ford who has gathered cricket stats every weekend and ran the fantasy league throughout the season.

Would club memebers please note that the annual Firework display will take place at the ground on Saturday 8th November. Planning for the event has already started. We need Volunteers to orgainise teams of members for specific jobs.Sponsorship - If we can get full sponsorship of the event then more of the proceeds will go towards the new pavilion. Can you please ask employers etc for sponsorship.

Car Boot Sale - Cancelled |
It has been decided to abandon the Car boot sales for both August (this
Sunday) and September. The triangle of used for the event needs time to recover from the wet conditions following the Beer Festival.

The Rules
1. The transfer window opens on 19th July 08 and closes on 2nd August 2008.
2. You are allowed to transfer up to five players from your current side with players not in your team, but must stay within the 420-point limit.
3. Players transferred will be added to teams from 3rd August and only points they score from this date onwards will count towards your team.
4. The attached list shows players values and the points they have scored so far this season up to and including 13th July.

Charlbury Cricket Club have won the Combe Knockout Cup and are undefeated Champions for the 2nd year running. The young squad beat Freeland Cricket Club on the last ball of the game.
